Our Mission
We offer a unique intensive pre-college program. It offers family consultation and a series of workshops for students who have experienced symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD and other mental health-related symptoms who are attending/preparing for college. With workshops and group activities, we hope to mitigate the stress that the new environment of college might bring, while providing student and family support through this transition. For Summer 2020, we have also expanded our program to include resources for students who have already entered college and may need more support before they return in the fall.
*Note: In light of COVID-19, the program will be run 100% virtually this year to ensure the safety of our students, parents, and staff.
Individual Assessments
A family meeting with Dr. Park as part of the program will provide individualized feedback for students and parents.
Psychoeducational Workshops
Experienced clinicians will provide in-depth information about what to expect at college and teach skills to foster success and reduce stress.
Peer Support
Students will have the opportunity to discuss what they are learning with their peers and with group instructors as they anticipate defining their own independent and healthy lifestyles.
Parent Discussion Group
When a child leaves for college, it may change the family dynamic in many ways. We offer a discussion groups for parents to talk about these changes and create strategies for the transition.
